ASGE Foundation: Education
ASGE’s Institute for Training and Technology (IT&T) The IT&T strives to improve the quality of endoscopy delivered to the public and to keep practitioners on the cutting edge through specialized education and information. Educational offerings include:
- Digestive Disease Week® an annual educational meeting of more than 15,000 GI specialists from around the world, co-sponsored by ASGE.
- Renowned peer-reviewed research journal Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (GIE)
- Endoscopic Learning Library of instructional DVDs and CD-ROMs.
- Interactive and hands-on educational courses offering practical training and the most current information in cutting-edge technologies, expert techniques, and evidence-based standards of care in gastrointestinal endoscopy. Many of these courses are held at the IT&T Center, which features a unique state-of-the art venue with endoscopic and imaging equipment that allows physicians and their teams to learn in an environment that simulates clinical practice.
