Biography

Dr. Pichamol (Sigh) Jirapinyo is an advanced endoscopist and bariatric endoscopist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, where she also serves as the Director of Bariatric Endoscopy Fellowship.  Dr. Jirapinyo’s clinical and research interests are in the areas of endoscopic management of obesity and metabolic diseases including nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.  In addition to performing therapeutic procedures including EUS and ERCP, Dr. Jirapinyo routinely performs both primary endoscopic bariatric procedures and a range of endoscopic treatments of bariatric surgical complications, including weight regain or inadequate weight loss.  Additionally, she routinely prescribes lifestyle intervention and anti-obesity medications for patients with obesity and metabolic diseases.
