Awards are given for the top submissions in a variety of categories, and are featured at the ASGE Video Plenary and the ASGE World Cup of Endoscopy presentations at DDW.

The ASGE Endoscopic Video Plenary Session at DDW features the “best of the best,” most innovative endoscopic techniques and unusual cases from around the world. This is the largest collection of high-quality, cutting-edge, fully-edited endoscopic video footage presented at DDW. Internationally-renowned experts in endoscopy will moderate the always-popular video session, which will highlight several videos selected from over 100 entries. The highest scoring video from the peer-reviewed process will be presented and awarded. Following the live session, all Video Session selections will be available for viewing, as well as all honorable mentions online through ASGE’s GI Leap Learning Management System at learn.asge.org.

The ASGE World Cup of Endoscopy features leading videos representing different countries. All selected videos will be presented and scored live by an international panel of judges during the session; one winner will be declared at the end of the session and the top three countries will receive medals.  DDW attendees join their native countrymen and cheer them on as they contend for the title of best video presented at the ASGE World Cup of Endoscopy. This is an international event unlike any other!
