COVID-19 Conversations:  Keeping Your Practice Afloat - Webinar

The COVID-19 outbreak is having a massive disruptive impact on our GI practices and on the way we provide care for our patients. Endoscopy units are reducing procedure numbers, or closing operations altogether, and clinic patients are being diverted to telehealth and telephone visits. In this webinar, we will discuss the effects of these changes on practice operations, with a specific focus on staffing, and possible remedies.

Questions that will be addressed:

  • What is ASGE learning from various GI practice settings who are managing initial day-to-day clinical practice schedules?
  • Are there shared case examples on how GI practices are supporting their employees over the coming weeks?
  • What practical and legal issues should the GI administrator consider during a time when many are discussing a business need for possible staff layoffs vs. furloughs?
  • Are benefit management issues being addressed by GI Practices or is that yet to come?
  • Can ASGE provide examples on how different GI practice settings are dealing with various other expense related management issues (e.g. insurance, rent, etc.)?

Registration for this free webinar is limited. Participants will receive an automated email confirmation with instructions to log in. The webinar can be accessed via computer audio only (no dial-in numbers are available). If your schedule prevents live participation, the webinar will be recorded and posted on GI Leap within 48 business hours after the live session.
