Colonoscopy: Diagnostic To Therapeutic

Course directors Drs. Douglas G. Adler, MD, FASGE, University of Utah School of Medicine, Salt Lake City, UT and Walter J. Coyle, MD, FASGE, Scripps Clinic, San Diego, CA. The course features an outstanding faculty of master endoscopists and educators in colonoscopy who will help all participants improve their colonoscopy knowledge and performance. Learning will be facilitated through didactic lectures, video demonstrations, and hands-on-training at the state-of-the-art ASGE Institute for Training and Technology. Participants will learn how to perform safer, higher quality and more efficient colonoscopies including mucosal inspection, chromoendoscopy, adenoma detection, hot and cold snare polypectomy, endoscopic mucosal resection, mucosal defect closure, endoscopic dilation of colonic strictures, colonic stent placement, control of bleeding, and management of hemorrhoids.
