Scoping Out Cyber Security in Your GI Practice

Dates: January 28, 2021
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM (Central Standard Time)

Recent warnings from the FBI, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) regarding imminent cybercrime threats have given hospitals, physician practices and public health organizations a heightened sense of social engineering fraud. Based on a practice’s experience, ASGE has gathered experts in this field to discuss the tangible impacts cybersecurity have on practices and provide some practical solutions to mitigate cyber-attacks.

Please join us Thursday, January 28 at 7:00 pm CST to hear an expert-filled presentation on winning the cyber war for your GI Practice. There will be a question and answer session during and following the presentation.

  1. Review real case-based scenarios of denial of service attacks, standard phishing and spear phishing and provide takeaways to protect your practice
  2. Conduct a dark-web presentation and discuss ways to prevent compromised passwords
  3. Understand what cyber liability insurance policies are built for and learn the terms you need to know when talking with your broker
