A major health priority is to increase colorectal cancer screening, and colonoscopy remains an important method of screening. This is followed by polypectomy being the most influential and relevant technique used by gastroenterologists globally in preventing colorectal cancer. Today, we can now consider the addition of artificial intelligence technologies to our list of tools in our ongoing efforts to increase adenoma detection rate (ADR) as the main surrogate outcome parameter of colonoscopy quality. This ASGE Live Endoscopy series will provide you with world leaders demonstrating a variety of colonoscopy, EMR and other endoscopic techniques while discussing Healthy People 2030 target of increasing to 74% of the proportion of adults aged 50-75 years to have received a colorectal screening test based upon USPST 2021 updated guideline recommendations.

Review epidemiological and clinical presentation of colorectal cancer and the role of colonoscopy in screening and surveillance.
Discuss proper techniques for colon intubation, biopsy, polypectomy, and control of bleeding.
Evaluate basic endoscopic findings, including recognition of normal and abnormal.
Discuss the pros and cons of implementing AI technologies across multiple GI endoscopic applications in clinical practice and its potential efficiency and accuracy of current diagnostic methods.
