Many endoscopists have begun incorporating endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) techniques to mitigate polyp recurrence. Given the complexity of this procedure, individual patient considerations are critically important in determining the optimal method used. This course will provide vital hands-on training at ASGE’s IT&T for the next level STAR certification course on colon endoscopic mucosal resection.

Ideal for those who have completed the Lower GI EMR overview course and are looking to further advance their colon EMR skills. This is also a prime opportunity for those currently doing colon EMR but want additional training in more advanced colon EMR skills.

If you want to learn how to optimize advances in endoscopic imaging to identify recurrent adenoma after an initial colon EMR, how to endoscopically manage these recurrences and how to minimize complications or other issues that may arise from colon EMR – this is the course for you!

Enroll today to claim your spot!

Learning Objectives
  1. Interpret advanced endoscopic imaging to identify recurrent adenoma after an initial colon EMR (application)
  2. Recognize the various methods available to endoscopically manage recurrent adenoma after an initial colon EMR (knowledge)
  3. Demonstrate advanced techniques for colon EMR complication management (application)
  4. Compare and contrast clinical scenarios when patients should undergo EMR vs. when patients should be referred for ESD or surgery  (analysis)
Course Requirements
  • Prior to the hands-on, skills-training component, enrollees will be required to complete pre-work
  • You should plan a minimum of 8 hours to complete the pre-course work
  • Access to pre-work will be granted closer to event start date
  • You will have up to 30 days prior to the course to complete the required pre-work
