I am truly humbled to receive the prestigious ASGE International Service Award and feel privileged to be a part of a group of eminent doctors who have received this recognition before me. As I look back on the time I have spent with the International Committee and ASGE, I have valued the great opportunity that it has given me to expand both my professional and administrative knowledge. As much as I have contributed, my own learning has been immense through interactions with fellow gastroenterologists from across the world.
