Fellows Education in 2026

Mark your calendars for education designed for trainees at every stage of fellowship hosted at the ASGE Institute for Training and Technology facility in Downers Grove, IL and/or participate virtually.

ASGE First-Year Fellows Program

GI fellows who begin the first year of their GI fellowship in July are eligible to attend ASGE's free First- Year Fellows Program, with ASGE membership. In-person registration is full, but virtual participation is still available for the last course on August 2-3.

  • July 24-25 – In-Person Only (Waitlist Available)
  • July 26-27 – In-Person Only (Waitlist Available)
  • July 31 – August 1 – In-Person Only (Waitlist Available)
  • August 2-3 – Hybrid (In-Person (Waitlist Available) or Virtual)

Senior Fellows Program (2nd and 3rd Year) – August 28-30

Preparing for life after fellowship? The Senior Fellows Endoscopy Program is designed to help you navigate the transition from training to practice. Explore career opportunities across private practice, hospital-employed, and academic settings while gaining practical insights into contracts, compensation, and career planning. The program also includes hands-on endoscopy training with expert faculty to help you build confidence for the next stage of your career. Learn more and register. 

Advanced Endoscopy Fellows Course - September 19-20 (In-Person Only)

Take your advanced endoscopy training to the next level with this intensive, hands-on course designed specifically for Advanced Endoscopy Fellows. Learn from expert faculty through case-based discussions, technical demonstrations, and hands-on instruction focused on advanced procedures and emerging techniques. Connect with peers and mentors while refining the skills needed for a successful career in advanced endoscopy. Registration for the AEF course is open. Explore the course details here.

Endo Hangouts for GI Fellows

Hang out with ASGE leaders during interactive complimentary webinars, held bi-monthly. Take this opportunity to engage in focused discussions with ASGE content experts and GI fellows. Selected clinical cases will address a broad range of issues and approaches to enhance fellow’s training experiences.
