Biography
Dr. Tyler Berzin is Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship training program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, where he maintains a full time clinical practice focused on advanced endoscopy. Dr. Berzin has authored over 150 articles and chapters on all aspects of GI endoscopy ranging from anesthesia safety to new innovations in ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound. His work has been published in Lancet, NEJM, Gut, and Nature BME. Dr Berzin’s research in artificial intelligence for colon polyp detection has led to several of the first randomized controlled trials in the field of medicine to apply real-time AI for patient care. At Harvard Medical School, Dr. Berzin has been the recipient of numerous clinical and classroom teaching awards.
