Biography

Ilche T. Nonevski, MD, MBA is a board-certified gastroenterologist at Rockford Gastroenterology Associates, where he has practiced since 2008. He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Cleveland Clinic, where his research focused on the causes of eosinophilic esophagitis.

Dr. Nonevski earned his combined medical and business degrees from the University of Cincinnati and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals of Cleveland. His clinical interests include esophageal diseases and gastrointestinal motility, colon cancer prevention, and the care of patients with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

He previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Rockford Gastroenterology Associates for seven years, leading initiatives focused on delivering high-quality patient care. Dr. Nonevski is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine–Rockford and a recipient of the Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and serves on the medical staff at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center.
