Dr. Naohisa Yahagi is Professor of Medicine & Director of the Division of Research & Development for Minimally Invasive Treatment at the Cancer Center of Keio University School of Medicine in Tokyo, Japan. Dr. Yahagi is internationally known for his research and expertise in the field. The focus of his research is developing new procedures for advanced minimally invasive treatments such as endoscopic resection and laparoscopic resection. He also works on developing new therapeutic instruments for advanced minimally invasive treatments, including natural orifice translumenal endoscopic surgery (NOTES) and laparoscopy and endoscopy combined surgery (LECS).
