The ASGE Golden Scope


The Golden Scope Championship is a fun and exciting game in which 1st and 2nd year fellows in-training compete for honor and prizes!

ASGE is excited we had so many participants from around the world and thoroughly enjoyed monitoring the shifting leaderboard throughout the week. We’re proud of all of you! We hope you enjoyed the competition, camaraderie and the education that took place.

Competition Timeline

Sep '25

September 19-20, 2025 (Live at ASGE IT&T in Downers Grove, IL) – SEMI-FINALS & CHAMPIONSHIP:
The top twelve teams will come together at ASGE’s IT&T Center in Downers Grove, IL for an in-person semi-final competitive round. Semi-finals will include both game play and hands-on challenges. All team members will be able to participate in ASGE’s Senior Fellows Program on Saturday, September 20, 2025-Sunday, September 21, 2025. The Final Championship of the top three teams will be determined and announced at a reception on Friday evening. The Final three teams will compete in a live Final Championship Jeopardy style format on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

Prizes

Semi-Final Prize

All twelve teams and their training director will receive full access to GI Leap for a 12-month period in recognition of their accomplishment of making it to the Semi-Final stage of the competition.

All twelve teams will have a travel stipend to participate which will cover airfare and transportation as well as 2 nights at the Westin Chicago Lombard.

Grand Prize

Final three winning teams will receive a cash prize that goes to the training director to distribute how they desire.

1st Place Winner: $5,000
2nd Place Winner: $2,500
3rd Place Winner: $1,250
