As a PRP Honoree, you will not only be recognized for demonstrating excellence in GI
practice operations, but will also gain knowledge and skills to enhance your
role in your GI unit. Through ASGE Practical Solutions in GI Practice
Management programming, you will find a broad range of offerings to choose from
to meet program requirements and to enhance your professional development in GI
practice operations. To tailor your own pathway, topic areas include; Quality
and Safety, Reimbursement, Leadership, Practice Operations, Business
Management, and Efficiency
Do I have to become an ASGE

How long is the recognition?
Excellence in GI Practice Operations Recognition Program is a two-year
Recognition. You may re-apply to the
program to continue your recognition prior to your expiration date.
Can a physician apply to the PRP?
Are continuing medical education credits
given for courses required in the PRP?
medical education credits are given to physicians, nurses, practice administrators
and coders commensurate with the profession and the course. Please refer to the course descriptions to determine the type and amount of credits given
How can I promote my recognition
and use the logo?
provide you with some tools to promote your recognition. You will receive an acknowledgement letter,
certificate, the PRP logo to and a letter for your Medical Director/Governing
Board announcing your recognition in the PRP.
If I leave my current unit, does
my recognition in the program stay with me?
Yes, the PRP is an individual
and is not connected to the unit. If you leave a unit, your recognition in the
PRP follows you until it expires.
