Holiday Greetings from the ASGE International Committee

Dear ASGE Members and Colleagues,

As we approach the end of another remarkable year, the ASGE International Committee extends our heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your unwavering support and engagement in advancing the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy across the globe. As members, you have been instrumental in shaping the future of our profession, and we are deeply inspired by the passion and commitment you bring to our shared mission. Your dedication to advancing the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy and commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration continue to inspire us all. Together, we are shaping a future filled with opportunities to elevate patient care and strengthen the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy.

In this ever-evolving landscape, it has become more crucial than ever to unite as a global community, exchanging ideas, innovations and best practices to navigate challenges and seize new opportunities. Together, we are advancing transformative technologies, such as AI, while ensuring their seamless integration into clinical care. Your involvement fuels the collaborative spirit that drives the success of initiatives like the ASGE International EURP program, and we are proud to be working on new educational resources and programs to benefit our members worldwide.

This past year, we have strengthened bonds through global engagements, including partnerships with sister GI societies and impactful events like AMEG’s National Meeting in Mexico, ENDOCON in India, ESGE Days in Germany and others. These gatherings, shared in this edition of the GlobalSCOPE newsletter, remind us of the power of collaboration and the international wealth of knowledge and expertise we share as a community.

As we look forward to the year ahead, we invite your feedback and ideas. Your voice is vital in shaping the future of ASGE’s global impact. We value your insights on how ASGE can continue to serve all of its members, and we encourage you to share your thoughts by contacting us at membership@asge.org. Let us embrace innovation, cooperation and collaboration with a goal of growth and prosperity as we work to create a brighter future for our profession and the patients we serve.

Finally, we wish you and your loved ones a very Happy New Year filled with health, peace and prosperity. As we step forward into 2025, let us do so with hope and optimism for the future. May this holiday season bring inspiration and renewal as we continue our journey together.

Warm regards,

The ASGE International Committee
