Ready to strengthen your expertise in endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and confidently manage complex biliary and pancreatic disease? ASGE’s ERCP Bootcamp delivers immersive, hands-on training designed for physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), nurses and GI techs. Through expert-led didactics, interactive simulations, and real-world case discussions, you’ll refine advanced techniques including cannulation, sphincterotomy, stent placement and stone management with real-time faculty feedback.

New dedicated breakout sessions for APPs, nurses and GI techs focus on critical topics such as room setup, infection control and managing adverse events to support safe, efficient ERCP care. You’ll also explore the latest innovations in ERCP equipment, including duodenoscope design and cholangiopancreatoscopy tools, while collaborating with peers in a dynamic learning environment.

Whether you're advancing your clinical practice or supporting the vital functions of the endoscopy unit, this course will give you the tools and confidence to excel in the evolving field of ERCP. Don’t miss this comprehensive experience, so register now and secure your spot!

Participants will be able to:

Physicians:

  • Refine your skills in cannulation, sphincterotomy, and stent placement through hands-on simulation and case-based discussions
  • Identify and manage adverse events such as perforation, bleeding, and infection during ERCP, using best practices and innovative tools
  • Develop strategies for managing challenging biliary and pancreatic cases, including malignant distal and hilar strictures, as well as complex stone extractions
  • Apply the latest ASGE guidelines and emerging research to your practice to improve patient care and safety

Advanced Practice Provider (APPs):

  • Describe the APP role across the ERCP care continuum, from pre-procedure evaluation and consent through post-procedure follow-up and recall
  • Explain expected benefits, risks, and complication profiles of pancreatic ERCP and integrate this into patient counseling and shared decision-making
  • Recognize expected diagnostic yield, therapeutic capabilities, and complication risks of cholangioscopy/pancreatoscopy and integrate these into patient expectations and follow-up planning
  • Identify common challenges and opportunities for APPs in ERCP programs and propose at least one actionable change to improve practice at their home institution

Nurses and GI Techs:

  • Create an efficient and sterile ERCP environment by mastering room prep, equipment handling, and duodenoscope reprocessing techniques
  • Provide critical support during ERCP procedures by anticipating needs, assisting with instruments, and managing patient positioning
  • Learn how to effectively assist in real-time management of complications during ERCP, including infection control and patient safety
  • Strengthen teamwork between nurses, techs, and physicians, improving overall procedural efficiency and patient outcomes
