How to Apply

International membership is for individuals who reside outside the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada and can provide evidence of certification, consisting of:

• Proof of certification by an appropriate specialty board or documented evidence of completion of an accredited training program in gastroenterology, pediatric gastroenterology or general surgery
• Applicants who reside in countries that do not have a specialty board must submit evidence of membership in and endorsement by their national endoscopic society
• International applicants must also be sponsored by an Active, Senior or International ASGE member
  
• Full requirements are found in the ASGE Bylaws

The membership review process takes approximately two to four weeks. During this period, candidates are granted provisional member benefits.
